Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Staying at the chalet Ourson in Montgenvre in a couple of weeks, have been told the walk to the lift is only 5 minutes...and ski and boot storage in the chalet is in the doorway... is it worth trying to find a ski depot on the main road ??

@yorkshirelad, not sure there is a "ski depot" - thought there are a couple of ski hire shops on the main road that might let you leave skis there each night.
To be honest though, I'd guess it's less than a 5 minute walk from where you're staying, probably not worth worrying about it?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cannot remember name of shop but it is on a corner opposite the large modern building and car park at the Font de Niege.

We hired a ski locker from them for 50 euro for week, takes four pairs of skis and boots, they issue you with two keys and you can keep them or leave them on a numbered hook by the till in the shop.

The lockers are in a secure building that is locked up overnight and warm and dry with benches to boot up. located just behind the shop.

Think it might be ski set but it was 3 years ago

Thanks .. Main reason i asked was that due to smashing my knee up, a five minute walk in my ski boots is very uncomfortable..
