Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bent footbeds

I left my sidas custom foot beds standing upright on the radiator overnight (in a rush to get everything dry for the journey home from VT) - I now have two banana shaped inserts. Any good tricks to flatten them again ?

You'll have to have them remoulded to your feet.

The arches/heel area is fine, it's just the toe part (the flat bit) that have bent upwards. I assume I can just heat them up and then flatten, just don't know the best way to do it.

@Pejoli, leave them on a radiator overnight?

A bit hard to control, and they might end up bent even more. I think I'll try an iron, and a couple of books to weigh them down, if no-ones got any other ideas.

@Pejoli, static work like that might flatten them.

Try a (decent) hairdryer first.

Hair dryer on low. Heat a bit and bend a bit.

Ended up using an iron on low through a bit of material - very easy to control the heat, and apply pressure to flatten them back out. ery quick to do as well.
