Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Billy No Gapes

Poster: A snowHead
Dear Aunty Snowhead,

I went skiing with my friend today and became quite disturbed.
I had heard of 'gapers' before and have done my best throughout my ski career to avoid such people.
It was after our second run together that I noticed my friend was fashioning a gape.
The reason I didn't notice at first was because it was not the standard frontal forehead gape (please believe me when I say that this is something I am obviously aware of and would avoid contact with at all costs!) but more of a sideways canyon of a gape.
My 'friend's' goggles did not meet the edge of his helmet nor his ear pads.

So, please Aunty Snowhead could you answer my question.

Does this mean that my 'friend' has a 'side' gape?
Should I never ski near them again?
Will this have made me look like a no-go area as i was with them?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Eimapro.

@Eimapro, I can't believe you're a pro, I'm so much better than you.

The elastic in my strap is getting a bit slack so certainly I've had a few embarrassing helmet escapes.
