Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Childrens Ski lessons in Bansko

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I want to book some ski lessons for my daughters in Bansko and I was going to do so through Bansko Blog who use Ski Mania.... Until I got to the point on the actual booking screen where they reveal minimum age 7. My children are 6 & 9!

So help! Does anybody know who and where I can book both girls in for some half day lessons?

I contacted them to find out if there were any lessons I could book for my 6yr old and got told that if she is "robust" they could make an exception and the could join the beginners.

I not sure about this. On the one hand physical she is robust in terms of she is as tall as a lot of 8yr olds BUT emotionally she is most definitely 6 and she isn't a natural sportsman. Flipped side she has spent time on skis before (last time in April). She was nicely controlled on the nursery slope by the end of the week.

What are peoples opinions? Can anybody recommend any others for the lessons?

Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Bansko Mountain Sport have some great instructors who are very good with kids. They are based by the traffic lights near to the gondola. They taught my daughter when she was 6.

Do not buy lift passes for the kids until you have checked out the prices for children. This season children up to 7 years only pay 1 lev per day (£0.3Cool but the tour operators may not pass this info on.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I booked the lift passes via Bansko blog and spotted a combined one fo Adult and child for under 7's which think cost £2 over the adult one so close enough. We are DIYing this holiday not using a TO.

Thanks for the suggestions and info. Much appreciated
