Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Swiss Airlines

Anybody using Swiss Airlines flight LX391, Manchester - Zurich, should be aware that this flight always leaves late by at least 20 mins. It is a daily flight and is scheduled to depart at 0840hrs GMT, however, it never leaves at that time, nobody can explain why, except to say that "we cannot leave before 0900hrs". It is probably a case of ATC slots. I have used this flight many times. I don't know why Swiss don't just amend the official time of departure to 0900hrs GMT. The upshot is that the flight is invariably late on arrival in Zurich, additionally having been frequently subject to stacking and a busy ATC at Zurich. The scheduled arrival time of 1140hrs CET is usually missed, sometimes by as much as 40-60mins. So I would advise users of LX391 to factor in ample time for onward travel connections - trains, planes, bus or car.
Flights Zurich-Manchester seem to run to schedule without any issues.

No it doesn't. Didn't last Saturday anyway. Departed maybe 10 mins late and arrived on time in Zurich at 11:40am. Very Happy

I used to fly to Basel/Mullhouse every week. The flight back on Friday night was a BA/Swiss code share. It was invariably late leaving, always (as I remember it) a Swiss plane. We didn't complain as we were never there on time and those lovely girls kept bringing us more gin.
