Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

LA Thuile Feb 14th?

Can anyone advise on how busy La Thuile will be this half term, were tied in to school holidays, I know France is mega busy due to the clash of school holidays.
I can cope with it being busier, as long as we're not going to encounter 10-15 mins queuing for lifts.
Thanks

Last went 5 years ago, but it was half term. As empty a resort as you could hope for at this time. You should be fine. snowHead

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@geoffknight, The only time it gets anywhere near busy is when some of the la rosiere skiers etc make it over, Never a queue for the chair at the base, sometimes 5 mins for the gondola. We have been 4 half terms (most recent was 4 years ago) and its empty, no idea how they make any money.

Weekends are busier due to all the turin / milan people appearing, but its still not France busy.

Can be really cold when that wind blows

Hi

Last winter I skied with my family at La Thuile (March 17th) and it was foggy for the whole week
Anyhow, as this resort is great for large families, we will go there again this March with 3 more families

The only area I have to cover better is the ski equipment rental - it was very expansive last year in the only 2 ski shops that I found there (100EUR per week!!! without helmets) and I'm traveling with 6 kids...

Does anyone here knows how to get a promotion there?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks
