Has anyone snowboarded on Filmoos and if so what was it like?

Lovely chocolate box town and part of the Ski Amadé network.
Quite a small ski area on its own which is pretty perfect for families and learners.
The area is split by the road.
One side is accessed by a gondola and has a couple of pistes down and the other side is a larger area a mix of mainly chairs and a drag here and there if you really want it!
A multi-day pass will include access to all the other Ski Amadé areas, the closest being Flachau.
There are regular ski busses but you are a little out in the sticks if you are considering taking advantage of the larger areas and moving about more.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

So not really that great for more advanced snowboarders.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Basically i am looking for a cheap holiday and these areas keep coming up, the GnaBuN, Gnarly But Nice Bash is looking good but still now final conformation and I want to see what alternatives should this be too expensive.

Mayrhofen is pretty good, again not a huge area by itself but you also have Kaltenbach and Zell am ziller/Gerlos down the valley and hintertux glacier at the top if you want a bit of variety. Very few flat runs, multiple parks if you're into that sort of thing. Not been to the other places you mentioned so can't comment I'm afraid.

Thanks, it seems if its cheap it's because its small. Not sure if it might be worth just booking something the week before I go, but as a solo traveller its not as easy.

Mayrhofen not really small TBH. The pass includes loads of (unconnected) area's but these are all easily linked by free transport networks. Plus even if snow is rubbish everywhere, which is unlikely, then jump the free bus up to the galcier and you're sorted!
