Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anybody skied either the Demon Flame or the Flame Pro by Movement? How do they handle?

tested several skis earlier this months. Have skied 1080s for sevral years- and ike them except on ice or fast.

1080 foils- 164cm- good on everything- turns a bit short radius- much better at speed/ on ice than old 1080.

K2 public enemies- I hated them- possibly a worn ski/crap edges- but not for me

Legend 8000- very smooth- good radius- not so good on bumps/ steep short turns.

Demon flames- if skied at 80-100% on piste- great- smooth and grippy- if skied slowish/shorter turns- crap. Fell on bumps++++I could not ski them off piste at all. I think I am not fit enough to ski them well.

I skied the Movement Demon Flame in a 159 for 2 days last week. Loved the ski. Found that it was good on piste in all types of turn with good edge grip. Easy to turn. Tried a few slushy bumps, but there was sadly no off piste to be had, only rocks. I was sad to hand them back.
