Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

HTFU?

I think you are misunderstanding me here. I'm not crying over this. I'm simply asking what would be the best way to deal with this.

And I thought dealing with things is a sign of hardness, whereas leaving things as they are is a sign of weakness? Laughing

@snowglider, If I have a deep but smallish gouge at the edge ptex is just not going to stick - in my observation it doesn't stick well to metal anyway.

Now to get the wrath of the purists - I fill the hole with epoxy resin. It fills very well and over time flows to perfectly fill the hole. It is just a bit softer than normal base so it can be scraped flat and over time wears to a very smooth long lasting finish

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Been tuning my own skis for years.

Had a good machine tune in Les Gets this time around, in the interests of convenience.

Far better than my cack-handed efforts. Will be machine tuning from now on.

It is this thing, drip a bit of flippin' ptex in there and take off the excess. Job done.

Now I agree with Spyderjon that if that's the edge that can be seen it won't hold, at least in the long term, but the OP says it is just a trick of the light.

Agree with the others. That isn't damage. It's an honourable battle scar.

Man up.
