Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Head Total Joy or Atomic Vantage 85?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have decided I need a new pair of skis - currently on the K2 Sweet Luv which I purchased as a beginner. I am now an intermediate/advanced intermediate I guess - can ski any type of red in any condition and easy blacks. I like to play around on the soft stuff at the side of the piste but don't want to go off piste in the true sense. I would like something with about an 85mm waist and have been looking at the Head Total Joy and the Atomic Vantage 85. I am strongly attracted to the Total Joy but I am concerned that it might be too stiff for me, although a representative at Sail and Ski insists it would not but Ski Bartlett are steering me more towards the Vantage 85. If anyone has an opinion on this I would be grateful to hear it as I go to Sainte Foy on 22 Jan and time is very quickly running out while I continue to procrastinate! Many thanks 😀
