I need to dump a car for a week in VD during the last week of Jan, won't need to use it so not bothered where in town as long as secure and free. Any ideas ?

There are plenty of apartments with owners who won't need their gate-controlled parking space that week. Now all you need to do is find one and persuade them to lend you their gate key.

I know people with apartments with spaces at least one of whom isn't there that week. Can't think how any of them would get you a key. I will however ask next time I see one of them.

Not in town but a few years ago I parked for the week in a roadside carpark just down from Le Fornet. No problem at all - just had to get the bus back to VD .

If you turn left at the final roundabout, where you normally go straight on to Fornet, there is some sort of cheese factory/shop or something at the end of the road with a big car park. I used to park in there - never left a car for a week there though.

@skimottaret, you might be the luckiest person ever as there is a jolly good chance our car may be in the garage being repaired that week and therefore you could use our underground parking space for the week - in exchange for a beer! PM me!
