Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Grenoble to Courchevel transfers?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I am travelling to Grenoble on the 12 March and require a transfer to my resort Courchevel 1650. I have heard of Bens Bus but have to wait 3 hours at the airport before heading off and i would rather not do this. Does anybody have any other suggestions on transfers?

Regards,

Craig

@curlysalter, Welcome, tricky if you do not want to pay for a private transfer (unless there are 4 or more of you when this can be the most economic). You could get the bus into Grenoble Station, and then a train to Montmelian, another train to Moutiers and a bus up the hill to Meribel, by which time Bens Bus would be most of the way there.

Alternatively you could walk for about 10 minutes out of the airport and sit in Macdonalds!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, how about if I hire a car just for the day to get there?

Not sure if there is a hire car office in Corchevel for a one way return - edit the title of this thread to Grenoble to Corchevel to attract some local knowledge.

Just a thought - Grenoble is working at capacity at weekends so delays of 60-90 mins are not unusual - something else to think about.....
