Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Airline tips and tricks

Hi All.

As a frequent flyer I come across some interesting quirks on certain airline bookings. I would advise using SkyScanner via here so Admin gets some back referral. Of course, you cannot beat booking well in advance but sometimes things crop up at the last minute and this is where some of the tips can really help.

1) My top tips for Europe are KLM. If you go for a couple of days it assumes you are on business and you get a silly quote, however, if you make it 4 days (IE leave a day later) and it can be £200 cheaper.

2) Long haul...... Go to your destination and it can be Megabucks (BA to Tokyo for example) but use a multi destination (EG LHR to ABC for one overnight then on to XYZ) and you will be amazed at the price drop. £1500 down to £750

3) BA business in one direction gets business baggage etc on both directions.

Any more tips?

Going BA Premium Economy from a regional airport (e.g. MAN) via LHR can get you business class on the internal legs which means you get to use the lounges on departure and return when waiting for the connecting flight.
