Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val D'isere to Alpe D'Huez : 2Jan '16

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

A friend and I need to get from Val D'isere to Alpe D'huez on the 2nd of Jan next year, clearly it's tricky going between resorts but was wondering if anyone had any particular suggestions of how to make this the easiest/quickest/cheapest it can be?

Getting from Val to Bourg isn't a massive problem for us but from then on it seems pretty lengthy, seems like we need to somehow get to Grenoble to then get a standard transfer from there to Alpe D'Huez.

We have had a quote for a private transfer from Val to Grenoble at 280 Euros which we would ideally like to do better than but it seems like a lot of legwork on trains and buses!

Any ideas / help anyone?

Cheers!

If you can afford the 280€ take it - from memory it is a hefty journey. £100 each not to schlep about sounds reasonable to me.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi @Nadenoodlee, cheers for that. Just found a Bens Bus transfer from Val - Grenoble for £46 which seems pretty good so going for that. Anyone got a Ben's Bus discount code? Very Happy
