Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Our mountain (Mt Seymour) got another foot last night and it's getting pounded again at the moment. What to do tomorrow... Last minute Christmas shopping or... wink snowHead

Storming in Idaho now too. Came in about 12 hrs later than expected. Dumping since about 11AM local time, and has really picked up since the lifts stopped spinning. And very cold too. Barely in the single digits F to start the day. If it is a slow moving storm, could be very good tomorrow. Building legs of steel this week! Toofy Grin

Shouldn't be an issue to just rent a AWD vehicle, and drive to the goods. The roads have been sketchy with all the snow. But you have your choice in WA State of Baker, Stevens Pass, Mission Ridge, Alpental, Crystal, White Pass. In Oregon - Mt Hood Timberline and Meadows, as well as Bachelor.

Our last day at Sun Valley was yet another powder day for Christmas. Thanks Santa!!!

Looks like skiing in NA just fell off the map. Currently in Colorado. Started off in Steamboat on Jan. 30th. Day was warm with 15cm of new. 0C at summit. Started to cool off at end of day and snow ramped up. Ended up with about 35cm overnight. Skied some nice powder for the day on Sunday, then loaded up the gear for Snowmass. Was snowing heavily when I arrived. Ski resort had received over 40cm during the past 24 hrs. On Monday another 25 cm had fallen by 5am. Snowed all day and still snowing at 7pm. Could be another 25cm for Feb. 2nd with lower temps. Most of Colorado is getting hit with snow.

Denver and east could get about 15cm tonight. Could see Summit County ski resorts getting 20-30cm into Tuesday early afternoon.

Will post a TR when I get back home, with pics of course!
