Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

just got a new board (salomon villain 153) and a new set of bindings (burton cartel)

trying to adjust everything to get an even overhang, as burton cartels dont adjust that well.

this is what i came up with:

this is the furthest position on the burton 4x4 disk.

Ok firstly where you have the screwholes going across the board, I would put them along the board. Use all 4 screws in the centre hole of the 3. On the board there should be markers for the standard stance width. This is where you should begin then adjust after a few goes if its uncomfortable. Next, adjust the gas pedal so it sits more under the toes. This is useful for toe-edge turns and again it can be adjusted for comfort/ ease of turn initiation. Start with basic angles of -15/ +15 and see how you go. Lastly, make sure the straps are centred over the boot. There is a booklet in the bindings box with diagrams to help. Hope this helps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The over hang looks fine. Coincidentally I took some pics of my bindings this afternoon. I'll be swapping a pair of Cartels between two boards on my next trip and wanted a reference. Take a look:
