Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone have any experience of this? My four year old is booked in for a week having done two at Alpe d'huez. What is the set up? How long do they spend inside/ outside? Which lift is it situated at, or is it resort level. We will have lunch together as a family. Thanks.

Yes, we sent our 2 (age 3 and 5 at the time) in Feb half term, ESF Piou Piou is away from the main slopes and in an enclosed snow garden. My 2 had done a few weeks on the pistes in Val D and found the Chatel set up boring - small snow garden, lots of standing around (I guess Feb half term is the worts tme to go for this) and lots of kids.

You'll need a car to get there depending on where in Chatel you are staying.

It was 1 hour on, 1 hour off from memory. Basically 1/2 day outside and 1/2 day in.

On a wider note, I'd personally never return to Chatel, maybe it's because it was Feb half term, but it was full of idiots.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

My eldest daughter was booked into there when she was younger. It's away from the slopes, so not convenient to meet up for lunch and essentially just a garden in a house with a slight slope to it. We took our daughter out of it after two days. Sorry, my experience of it wasn't good.
