I've been vaguely thinking about some new toys for a while, but I kind of want something more piste focused (think the countdowns would only be filling the same slot in my quiver as my Directors). Didn't stop me thinking hard about it though!

He's thrown in a set of skins as well...the lot is just over £300 posted. If they ski as well as their shape suggests, I'll be very very impressed.

@clarky999, they're tricky to find - I googled SD115 and sent me to the 2014/15 skis page which seems impossible to get to from the Down site itself. Blinding value at less than €300 for a carbon/hybrid ski! Might buy a pair for shiggles

I took delivery of my CD107s last week, I ordered them in the summer. Just looking for some skins as I didn't get any thrown in😥. Any suggestions?

In the absence of better ideas, I'd go for the BD mohair/nylon mix - see quite a few about and those I know with them have nothing bad to say about them. Sport conrad got them for €130 or so.

@clarky999, Very jealous, but I have preachers and Cl108's so some 115's too is just plain greedy (but then I am the greedy sort!)
If you actually had so off piste conditions I imagine I would have got some

@Sharkymark, nope, now snow (at least without wasting fuel to drive to an icy glacier) 
Flying back to the UK for Christmas tomorrow; hopefully things will be better when I get back! If we get a repeat dump of the super cold pow we got 28/12/14 I'll be very happy!

@Gaza, yep apart from the 102 touring ski, the others are one length per model. However I think those lengths (generally) are about right for most people in the target market of each ski.

I'm 75kg and the 189 CD114s are fine. They have a fair amount of rocker but are definitely aimed at the more aggressive skier; they love to be run ragged in pow straight down the fall line as fast as you dare
