Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer info from Friedrichshafen

I am going out to work in Lech for the season, and for the first time I am responsible for sorting out my own travel arrangements. I wonder if anyone has ever done this transfer before by public transport, as I am not wanting to pay a huge amount for a taxi or private transfer.

Much appreciated!

@bridgetmf92, the train journey from Friedrichshafen Airport to Langen am Arlberg takes about 2h15. You have to make several changes, and get a bus from Langen up to Lech, but it shouldn't be a big problem.

Hi there. Well done you, getting any job in Lech is a massive privilege. You going to work as a nanny for Googi?
I've made the trip from Lech to Friedrichshaven many times though not with public transport.
You will be pleased to know there is a train station right there as you come out of the arrival area. You can buy a ticket to get you to either Langen or St Anton AM Arlberg. You will need to change trains at least once, possibly more. Either is about 35 minutes by bus to Lech. Langen hasn't got anything there other than the station, so you might want to go to St Anton. At least you can wait in comfort there if you need to. A taxi last season was about 54 euro to either. the bus from St Anton is about 6 euro.
Have a great season !!!
