Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Here's hoping one of you Snowheads can help -

I ordered a set of Therm-ic Supermax powerpacks from Ellis Brigham, which are required for the tootsies of Mrs YSJ who suffers from Reynauds and seems to have cold feet even in mid-summer. Well the powerpacks turned up today, but what I have got is the Max Powerpack, not the Supermax as ordered. This in itself is an annoyance, but to make matters worse I have been charged the price of the Supermax packs and having just looked on the EB website, the ones I want appear to be out of stock now!

I am anxious to get a set of the Supermax packs as we leave for Canada on the 21st Jan snowHead snowHead , and can't see the point settling for anything less than the maximum heat that can be directed to Mrs YSJ's toes. Can anyone tell me where I can go to get a set of Supermax Powerpacks (with the global charger) mailed to me in time for our departure please?

try www.lockwoods.com they stock the product, may be easieer to call them up than search the site but they should definately have them

also try sticking some reflective materail 9stron foil, survival blanket etc. to the outside of the liner or the top of the plastic base board in the boot

Another one, wear wool based socks not the thickest things you can find, a good wool sock something like smartwool will help to move moisture away from the skin and keep the feet warmer. Toofy Grin Toofy Grin

CEM, Thanks for this, I had forgotten about Lockwoods and they didn't come up when I Googled 'therm-ic'. Have found the right product on their website, but will give them a ring when they open. Here's hoping they have them in stock!
