Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Group insurance? (skiers and non skiers)

Hi all. I have a two fold question I was hoping I can get some help with. We have booked our trip to Saas Fee for the second week in January and it is me, my wife, our daughter who is 5 (we three are skiing), our son who is just over 1 and my mother (these two will not ski Wink ). Now, is there a group policy that the collective experience here would recommend? Which companies should I consider? Also, my mum is not a UK resident or national (my wife and I are residents but not nationals, our children are UK nationals). Does that affect whether my mum can be covered by the policy? Thanks in advance!

Very unlikely you'd get any kind of group policy to cover all those bases. A family policy for yourself / wife / kids should work well though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@ stevomcd Thanks for that. Do you have a suggestion as to which companies offer a suitable product? I have heard about snowcard. Anyone else?

Agree with @stevomcd, get a family policy + a single for mum purchased from her home nation.

Are you just skiing on piste? If so any policy with snowsports cover will do. If skiing off piste consider Snowcard, MPI, BMC, SCGB and the like.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks guys. Layne, yes, we only ski on piste. Our banks cover us for snow sports too, but I was just thinking maybe, as this is the first time we travel with our children (in the past it was just my wife and I) a more specialized policy was needed...
