Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Insurance Recommendations

Hi all. I'm looking for ski insurance and would like some recommendations. It's for a single trip to Austria. I'd like it to include cover for search and rescue if that's possible and must allow screening for existing medical conditions. Cheers.

@bendiddley, I would have recommended snowcard but they have changed their stance on existing conditions. If it's minor you don't need to declare but otherwise they won't cover you. You could email them with details of your condition and see what they say

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cheers. Yes I've used snow card before but I need screening, and unfortunately it's not a minor condition.

@bendiddley, have a look at MPI. I know their prices have increased recently, but they do a specific policy for people with medical conditions and it does include search and rescue.

We went with DogTag. Premium for the season was a bit higher than the others we looked at however they only added £10 to the premium to cover my girlfriends epilepsy. Others jumped up!
Fully covered for off piste unless I'm by myself. Which you'd never do anyway...
