Can you get to Zurich? Looks like options from there to London (EasyJet and BA) and to Manchester (SwissAir).

As mentioned, overnight at airport and take TGv in the morning. First class usually only a bit more expensive and gets you a three course lunch. Then eurostar to uk.

So...
No more flights available out of GVA this evening or tomorrow morning.
No hire cars available. Trains are full booked - there have been people stuck there since last night, so my mates are well down the queue for trains.
Struggling to get to Zurich.
They have now arranged hotel rooms for the night.
Looks like coach trip to Basel tomorrow morning for indirect flight to Bristol, may be the best option.
Thats why I prefer driving.
Thanks for the help team.

BA is showing a lot of availability post midday tomorrow, tho I accept that staying at GVA with cancellation risk might not be a risk you want to run.
SNCF is showing plenty of availability (ie relatively cheap tickets) on the 07.39 and 09.38 to Paris tomorrow. I didn’t even know it was possible for this service to be fully booked. Have they verified this themselves or is it just what the airline told them?

@Circusthing, One of my kids flew Belfast to Geneva today. Flight departed and landed on time. The same plane is now on time to depart on its 8th leg of the Easyjet Saturday shuttle. As Sunday-Sunday trips to that part of the world are limited they might be able to get a later flight tomorrow?
