Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Insurance for the season

Apologies if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find it in a search.

Me and my wife are instructing in Switzerland this coming season having previously taught in Canada. I've been looking at insurance for the season. Obviously we have cover from our governing body when working but require it for all other times and activities. The cost seems to have escalated hugely for our trip of just over 4 months.

I am hoping someone has a recommendation for a good level of cover at a slightly more reasonable price than those already quoted. Also if anyone has any other useful information it would be much appreciated.

@Ade57, what do you think is high? Just done daughters to go to Canada for 2 years at £860 having used BASI previously - but needed 2 years to match the visa and they would not do 2 years.

Jake43 I'm beginning to realise that high is not as high as I thought. Initially it was coming out at about £650 for the 2 of us, though am now finding things with help from here and facebook for around £480. It's a big increase on our last full season 2 years ago which was about £350.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Its not to be skimped on and £480 for both of you for a season sounds a bargain to me. Mind if you are paying in CAD$ you are in trouble.

My daughter is off on IEC this year to Canada - who did you insure with @Jake43?

True Traveller. There are a couple of other choices but this one offered unlimited trips out of Canada too.
Website is not obvious when I tried to use it but the chat or telephone people are very helpful.
