"Tip guard" perhaps?
A decent [real world] ski shop like Bartlett's or the Piste Office would be able to tell you.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@glisser, if it's what I am sure it is, I think it has a limited protection function and as suggested, duck tape would be a fine replacement although I don't think anything really needed.
I can't imagine you'll find a replacement.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Tip protector. Often available as spares. Depends on make and model. For example, Salomon are able to sell them as spares (at least to a stockist). To be honest, they don't do a great deal in terms of protection and are more aesthetically pleasing.

I really doubt anyone will sell them, having gone thru a few google pages and I really doubt they'll make a difference.
good way to teach your daughter her left and right skis!

Without seeing a photo, are you sure it is not just one of those plastic ski tip covers they use for transporting the skis (i.e. you would take them off before using skis for first time)? If so then that would explain why it fell off one of the skis.
Otherwise I guess you need to contact Volkl.
