This might be heretical but if you have no outdoor space to scrape the wax off I'd let the snow do it. No problem except on some (rare) powder conditions.

I aways lay old newspapers on the floor to catch the wax and ptex drips. If you do not take a daily newspaper then vist your local railway station in the UK. They have boxes of them.

I do mine outside but have a big tarpaulin for when I do it on the balcony in France.

if you ever get a large cardboard box, sort of head height flat pack is ideal, then keep a big chunk of it for sticking under skis as you wax and scrape them. makes cleaning up a doddle
