It's great to have lovely new skis but it's not clear from your post why you want to change. if you're not sure what a different ski might do for you then the best bet is to try some skis out. Try getting a demo from a ski shop, renting for a few days or trying some friend's skis if you can. Just buying a new pair because they look good value and the graphics are nice probably isn't a great idea.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Stick with what you have and spend the money on lessons.

Wedze is Decathlons own make I think. No idea about quality or reviews they get. Personally I would stick to a manufacturer dedicated to the sport ie K2, Rossignol, Head, Blizzard etc

@Themasterpiece, I seem to recall reading (probably here, probably from a well known zookeeper) that Wedze were 2nd grade Dynastars. And thusly pretty good value for money.

@Themasterpiece, nope, that wasn't the thread. It may have been a private conversation over a beer. But the party in question is well connected in the industry and generally knows his apples.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@glisser, skis are in some ways like cricket bats. They need wax and service to keep them in good condition. Get them serviced and they may well be good enough for this season
