Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

In that case I'll go to BC.

I think you'll find:
(a) that helmets were already mandatory for staff, and that they were mandatory for many terrain parks
(b) that one coroner can "call" all she likes, but that's not as important as one may think.

Well it's already a legal requirement to wear a helmet to ride a bike here, so not entirely surprising...
A few things though.
Most people wear a helmet to ski anyway and have been for a long time, skiing is more a sport here, and it's just part of the equipment.

There doesn't really seem to be anything like the safety culture here. For example you seem to be able to (or at least I see fairly frequently!) put a bike rack on the front of your car(!), jack your truck up to decapitating heights, use 8ft 2x4s as a roof-rack/wings to get all you kayaks on, etc... Legally you have to wear a helmet on a motorbike too, however the interpretation of that seems "varied", seems you can put a anything on and that'll do.

The mandatory for staff thing is likely a liability/union thing
