Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Gym in Ischgl

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I am recovering from an ACL reconstruction and will not be able to ski this year. I am going to Ischgl in January with my husband, and am considering whether to go in December. Are there any gyms (other than in hotels) that I could use whilst he is skiing? Do some hotels let you use their fitness centres?
Thanks

According to the website there is a gym in the Hotel Solaria which it looks like others can use though I would phone/email to check.
There is a sports centre up the road in Galtur which is accessible by bus but looking at the pictures I am not sure if there is a gym in it.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You could try the Silvretta Center. There's swimming pool, saunas, massage etc available. I trust there must be a gym, too. I wasn't looking for a gym when I was there last year but I would be surprised if they didn't have one.

You should be able to come to an arrangement with one of the Ischgl hotels to use their facilities and save you travelling too far.

Best wishes for your recovery.
