Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Directors are massively rockered! I've got the 191's and they ski really easily. I'm bang on 6ft and not exactly bulky, but they ski really easily. I doubt you'd have a problem with 181's.

From the sounds of all of this advice i should definitely be looking at the 181's given that i'm carrying quite a few more kgs than @Scarlet.

@admin, can we arrange a ski test on the Birthday Bash!? Laughing Toofy Grin Very Happy

Slightly back to @Scarlet thoughts. My logic is that I have to test the length too long, decide they are too long then buy one down.

I've been caught out when I tested the first pair of skis I bought, indoors, and found them fab, really easy to ski etc etc only to grow out of them unless I fancy snow blades. It was the only demo length EB had, and as I found that length fine, I just got what I knew. If I had te niggle of would this last me a bit longer if I had a bigger ski, or be more stable, I need to decide that the next length up is too much, particularly if testing indoors where I usually ski a shorter ski if I rent anyway.

I hope that makes sense, but I'd say test the 181s before you buy the 171s even if all it confirms is that 171 is right.

OMG haven't read all the replies, but honestly.. no way that at 5ft 4 and how you describe you need a 181. Its 171 at a push and honestly you could go 161 also. Ignore the 181. You'll regret it. I think if you are thinking this way its 171 and don't have a second thought.

 snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
Also, if you are going to be doing a fair bit of tree skiing then the slightly shorter option may prove a little more managable.
