Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Possible 40cm-60cm forecast for Whistler over the next 5 days. Comes with some pretty heavy duty winds Thursday/Friday in the alpine.

Is that the same 48" they said they would get last week? Seems very variable like last year when big fronts came in but then somehow missed Whistler going north or south. Does not look like early opening up as they have for the last few (many) years.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yes, same forecast, with a little bit more clarity. There are actually two separate storm fronts. One arrives late Tuesday/early Wednesday with cold temps. It does look like both of the storm fronts will hold together, however the second front is appearing to grab some warm moisture on the way in, which will cause a slight rise in freezing levels. So top of Whistler will see some rain on top of snow. Then temps drop again along with lower freezing levels as the storm works its self out into Sunday.

Well it's snowing in Whistler Village at the moment so that's a good sign for what's happening higher up the mountain Smile.

Snowing heavily in the Cascades here in WA too. All the way down to pass level. Sucks that the freezing level will be going up later in the week. Sad
