Poster: A snowHead
|
anyone know of anything going on over the New Year period in Aviemore that's suitable for the whole family?
Just booked a house to stay there.
We are hoping to get a bit of skiing and boarding in- or biking depending on weather
Thanks

Just back from a long weekend. They do a what's on guide for every month. May be too early to be listed but probably a good starting place.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hopefully you will be in luck with the snow and weather MCL.
We've chanced a couple of New Year Scotland bookings in recent years (Travelodges like Perth & Ft William booked months in advance at cheap rates - with the plan being to forego the trip if the forecast was particularly horrific) - and have always been fortunate to be able to ski somewhere.
Mind lifts can open a bit later than normal on New Year's Day after all the Hogmanay celebrations.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the info folks, I think we'll have a good time 😀
Just started learning to board so that will keep me entertained if only the top runs are open

@MCL, If you want a New Years's Eve table at the Ski-ing Doo it might be a good idea to reserve it early!

Make sure you go the The Old Bridge Inn while you're there - really good food.
