When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Thule Motion 600 roof box review

Bought a Thule Motion 600 roof box for this winter to give me a bit more room in the car. First impressions were it's pretty well made was light enough to put on the roof by myself, it'll hold a snowboard up to 178cm and skis up to 175cm with bindings off it'll hold a lot of kit probably 10 boards bindings and a fair bit of other stuff if you cram it in.
I'm using it with Thule edge roof bars and the wind noise is minimal and on a 140 mile round trip my mpg only dropped 1 mpg from usual. All in all if you want to get yourself and your mates to the alps with a load of kit it's a pretty good buy.

Agreed. I have the 900 one, and it rocks. Light enough to put and remove on my own, and fits ALOT of stuff in there.
