Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi

I am posting this to hopefully save anyone in the Sydney Australia area the hassle, pain, expense, of ill fitting ski boots. There is shop to avoid called Snow Bound in Sydney NSW. They walk the walk and talk the talk, but do not deliver. I had an expensive pair of boots ruined by this shop, I went to them to have some liners moulded, form fitted. The result was a complete disaster their staff have no idea on how to fit boots, I had bruised feet and the pain prevented me from skiing in the boots. They really took me to the cleaners, and also my wife at the same time (the same problems). I will not go on about it further, but do yourself a favour they are useless, save yourself the time and money, and pain AVOID THEM AS YOU WOULD THE PLAGUE. - Cheers

Have you given them a chance to make it right?

How do you go from a liner being cooked to a boot totally ruined- at worst you need a new liner?

Top rant though - possibly of more interest to an Aussie forum I doubt many people here would consider buying boots in Sydney.
