Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Would be a great time for Westfield to announce official plans for that snow centre they were meant to be building in Stratford...couldn't ask for a better PR opportunity!

Wasn't the Ski Show supposed to be doing a pro big hair this year now that it's moving to Battersea.

Didn't know they were moving venue to Battersea. An... interesting, and significantly smaller, choice of venue.

As IOC has officially sanctioned Big Air as an Olympic event from 2018 and Freeze is now an FIS approved event, and it's the first event of the season, you can hopefully expect a pretty good line-up of riders looking to score points.

Has anyone been to anything like this before and can offer advice as to suitability for a nearly 10 year old? The website is currently pretty thin on details, and I'm sure they will be forthcoming nearer the time, but as it seems to be running on a Saturday afternoon and under 10s are free, I'm tempted to go along with my older daughter.

I've been a couple of times, but not too recently, there were plenty of kids around at those times. It's pretty corporate so I wouldn't worry too much, things may get a bit more 'colourful' (depending on your opinions) later in the evening once the music festival bit kicks into high gear, but I suspect that'll depend on who is playing etc etc.

Is she likely to be able to see what's going on without us having to fight through a crowd?

I suspect she'd be ok - most of the action takes place about 30ft up, and IIRC there are big screens either side of the kicker too.

I was thinking of taking my 6yro, but waiting for more info first, the tickets say gates open at 12, if we could see a couple of hours I'm sure she'll be happy

Keen to go, but £40 for a ticket when I'm not really interested in the music section of the day seems a bit steep.
