Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All

Just a quick message to ask whether anybody knows of any organisation / group that I might be able to join for a day of off piste on the 4th of Feb only, in La Plagne? I've contact Oxygene, ESF, and New Gen so far.

Thanks
Simon

Hi capability I will be in Les Arcs, near the link gondola that week and would be interested in joining you if you would like extra folk for a group or guide share. SCGB are doing an off piste trip on the 3rd over in Les Arcs which I am considering but i'll have to renew my membership again and pay extra for the guiding . I'll have a look to see if there are any SHs in LA or LP who want to meet.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi Seahoob

Guide share could be good. What level are you, I think I'd be classed as a beginner off piste, even having dabbled for a few years.

Thanks

Have you inquired at the Bureau de Guides in La Plagne, it is probably a good starting point.

Hi Seahoob

Just had some potential change of plan, not changed! So would be keen to book a guide for a morning on the 4th if you'd like to share?

Will look into the Bureau de Guides!

Excellent.

Oxygene are offering group lessons 9:30-12:30 off piste for 70E per person.

Cost from Guides de La Plagne is 320E for a day.

Happy to book a guide if there's three of us. And nothing crazy! Smile
