Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

This is my first time over here! Yikes Happy

I have a request, not for me, but a friend based near Hintertux is looking for some one to one snowboarding sessions with a BASI trainer prior to an upcoming Level 2. Would anyone know anybody suitable or have any suggestions?

Thanks

Noone's answered, so I'll chip in, even though my answer isn't very good!

I don't think there are any BASI trainers in Hintertux, or indeed in Austria for that matter...

I think there's a guy called Dan Norton based in Verbier. Otherwise you're mostly looking at the Espace Killy, with Renelle Mortimer (Fresh Snowboarding), Si Cooke (Rebel Alliance Snowboarding), James Sweet & Lewis Sonvico (Superrad Snowboarding) and Steph Wiehe (Pro Snowboarding)

There's also Rob Sanderson, Kevin Edwards and Mark Petty working for RTM in Courchevel.

The only other trainer I know about is Ash Newnes, who mostly bases himself in Andorra (Snowboard Coach) Hope your mate can find something useful out of those - all absolutely top people Smile

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just searched again - it's Rob Norton in Verbier with Vivid Snowboarding.

Ah - and Neil McNair in Espace Killy too (McNair SnowSports)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@jiagedaping, Thanks for the info. I'd checked back for a couple of days then gave up!

You are right, there's no-one based in Tux, but since half of BASI seem to be there this month for various courses etc my pal has been advised to get on to the BASI office and see if they can sort out someone who has a few hours free.

Cheers!
