Nice to hear. Took my first steps on skis as a teenager with School here progress to learning stem turns. It is, however, grim up North

I guess there will be threads arguing that one somewhere. I think it's easer to start snowboarding, but harder to master it, to judge from what I see. I wouldn't conclude one is easier to learn than the other, more that many snowboarders don't have much ambition to ride better.

@philwig, i agree, it's patently much easier, even these days, to begin to snowboard. I don't see there being much difference in effort required to practise either at high level. Natural arbitrage would take care of that, if you know what I mean.

That's our dog @ 2.00. We take him for a walk up the hill while the kids do their lessons. If he spots them he does tend to take off, if we're not paying attention! Great place.
