Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowboard footbeds in Espace Killy

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
My boots have started to come apart at the heel, so I'm getting a warranty replacement.

While I'm at it, it's probably worth getting the footbeds looked at - they're from a different boot, half a size smaller, and were made a few years ago now.

Is there anyone specifically recommended for snowboard footbeds in the EK? Failing that, a decent ski footbed maker? Heard good things about Nevada by Palafour.

Cheers!

@jiagedaping, good luck with that - I tried buying board boots in Val d'Isere last year and was told that there was only one shop in the entire area selling board gear. Evil or Very Mad

Nah - definitely a few good places for board boots - Labo, Bazoom, Snowpark in Tignes are all decent. Val is a bit more ski focused, but Misty Fly is still decent. Just not heard of anyone like Sole in Chamonix who do proper snowboard footbeds. Might give Nevada a call tomorrow if this doesn't throw up any options.

Probably too late - but yes Nevada is very good but he's sometimes very abrupt and unhelpful for snowboarders. Instead the place in Val Claret, directly across from Hotel Curling where I now prefer. One of the boot fitters (Victor) is a snowboarder and very helpful and knowledgable.
