Anyone know the current status of the queues to the Calais tolls on the A26? If its busy is it worth diverting through Amiens?

Currently Google maps is showing a 6 minute delay between Reims and Calais with an accident near where the N42 crosses the A26. We always listen to 107.7, very often traffic news is in English.

it would have to be a very big delay to be worth diverting.

We drove right up to the 30 kph lane and kept right on moving .. An earlier accident on the A26 was cleared before we got there and now we're sitting in the "welcome area" waiting to check in for our train .. Apparently it take 30 mins from arrival to be released to check in .. So we will get there 2 hrs before check in for our 7.30 crossing .. Hoping to get hone early but not sure if that's gonna happen or not ...

Eurotunnel processing was better than at New Year. From arriving at the holding pen to being in Starbucks ordering a coffee, just over an hour. Even got on a train three hours before our scheduled train whereas normally they try and charge you for this.

only if it's a more expensive train. I frequently get a different train but rarely have to pay any extra.

Fekkin shambles this evening.
4 hour delay and when we get on a train it is only half full when it leaves but with thousands of cars still in the mega queue....disgrace.
