Just a dusting here in South Yorkshire, but looks very christmas cardy.
Sky news already predicting chaos with 'up to 20cms' predicted in the south. No doubt Halfords will be selling out of snow chains...
Wonder if I can make my lawn look groomed using the garden rake... ?

Just about to go and play golf and it's started snowing, just a light flurry at the moment. The ski's are stood by the front door, (not been moved since getting back from the alps on Sat), so hoping that enough lands over at Alston and they get the tow at Yad Moss running.

im not surprised.We are meant to be getting some tonite but will have to wait and see,nearest thing to the slopes at the moment

I tell you though, does help with the enthusiasm seeing as I'm off to Austria a week Saturday, didn't think I'd be seeing snow till I stepped out of the plane!!!

It can snow as much as it wants after lunchtime tomorrow but not tonight. I've got to drive to Heathrow tomorrow to fly off to Banff but it doesn't look much fun on the roads at the moment.

obelix67, Newcastle has just started to get regular showers as forecast. Nothing really major until the last hour or so. I reckon the roads will be fine but it depends how far up the coast these showers go.

Durham has a thick frosting and about two cms of snow. Still need another couple of feet before I think of cancelling my week in Soll - 18 days and counting.
