Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Another scam warning for potential renters

Not sure if I am putting this in the right place but have just received this message below from Chalets Direct:

We are sending you this email to inform you of a potential scam we have been made aware of.
Some of our users looking for ski holidays have reported that they have been contacted by jesperhansen.jr@gmail.com who is masquerading as real holiday providers with proposals of ski holidays.
This individual is not working on behalf of any real company and is attempting to commit fraud.
To our knowledge to date the attempts have been unsuccessful. The police have been notified and Barclays Bank have been informed.
We have recommended to users that before making any payments for a holiday that they should;
1. Speak to the owner/operator on the phone before making a booking
2. Get a full contract/agreement in writing before proceeding to payment
3. Pay by credit card where that facility is available
As a precaution we would advise you to log into your Chalets Direct Control Panel and reset your password (Log in and go to My Account > Reset Password) and also to ensure you are using strong passwords on your email accounts.
For advice on strong passwords please take a look at: https://www.cyberstreetwise.com/passwords

@Pamski, makes you wonder if they have a 'leak' of users email addresses ?

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have had a phishing attempt this week from a Victor Asseo (and his son Hugo). Enquiries came from the enquiry form on Chalet Montagne. Nothing to suggest anything other than a genuine enquiry, but the reply came back with a dodgy dropbox file which required me to log into a fake Gmail site.
