Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Switzerland reports "good start" to 2005-6 ski season

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Swiss meteorologists are reporting healthy snow cover for much of the country - with "twice the amount" of last year on the area "running from Davos and Lake Geneva".

This wording's maybe become confused in translation, but here's the rest of the report on Switzerland's start of the winter from SwissInfo.org.

Anyone in Switzerland care to comment on current conditions, relative to others they've experienced at Christmas recently?

snowbunny,

I've just found a Stockli centre in Andermatt...but I'll reserve what I ski on once I see the conditions...

You should like the first two, maybe look at the M77 if you want more float and don't be shy on the XL's supposed stiffness, it isn't a handful for a
good skier IMV.

Thanks...well I can talk like a good skier Laughing . Bit concerned though, that both the shortest XL and M77 will be a tad too long for my height of 165cm Very Happy
