Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bardonecchia is very pretty but tiny and there aren't that many bars. Only one that springs to mind is the one at the bottom of main street which as I recall was really friendly but that could be due to us accusing the local poseur of drinking his tequila like a girl (well, he was sipping it). Then proceeded to show him how it's done which resulted in him trying not to trip over his bottom lip on his way out & the bar staff inviting us to a club in the next village. Just as well we declined, we nearly missed our transfer as it was..

Plenty of snack places about tho so mid day munchies are covered.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We're also going to Bardonecchia in January '05 (9th-16th to be exact staying at the Rosa Serenalla)

Anybody know how much work has been done with regards to all of the "investment" that has gone into the resort according to all the reviews?

How far is the drive from Bardonecchia to the resorts on the Milky Way?

Cheers in advance

no_snow_in_swindon, Welcome! Don't know much about investment....but the drive to Sauze d'Oulx won't take more that 10 or 15 minutes at most.

Hate to put a damper on things but the web cam is not live - the 'current' shot is 2 days old - and that is possibly artificial snow (see the row of snow cannons). Still it's snow. Have a good trip, no_snow_in_swindon
