Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ha ha the Dutch aren't well known across Europe for their generosity and good spirit.

Back on topic, meant to be a holiday isn't it? So people don't like being out in inclement weather.

Half of holiday skiers don't like to or simply can't ski in deep snow/storm/poor vis or whatever shocker. Yawn.

I'm in that 1/2... which is WHY I'll be out in those conditions trying to get better at it.

Even if you don't improve it does make you feel like a ski god when the sun comes out... even if it's only for a few mins.
Have to say I was suprised by the looks I got a couple of weeks ago, when a few snowHead (you know who you are) headed for the cafe/bar because of a bit of bad/flat light and I said "I'll do a few more runs and catch up with you later"

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@kat.ryb,
Same on summer beach holidays? Increased risks perhaps of being near the sea during a storm.
@adithorp,
Haha 'Ski God'
There are those that think skiing well in deep powder and in poor visibility/weather is everything, for others it may be SL or GS, Parks, Touring etc etc.....as long as the individual is happy and they don't put others at risk, then great.
I guess there are others that seem to consider that they are in competition with all others, and that they are better or faster.
You will know what I mean if you drive a sporty car and find yourself next to a boy racer at the front of a queue at traffic lights, or wear a ski instructor uniform and go free skiing without clients......everyone wants to race or be better.

@mayr, Anyone who's seen me ski would be laughing as well.
