Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi everyone. We're off as a group to Alpe D'huez on sat 31st jan and 2 of our party are snowboarders. They need lessons as only beginners and I was wondering if anyone has any advise on a ski schools they know that offer lessons in a morning? they have contacted ESF and they have said they offer pm lessons only which worst case will do but they ideally wanted AM lessons.

Many thanks

No matter what - ANYONE BUT ESF for Snowboarding...

Try StanceSnow or Easyski as alternatives. Not used either but Stancesnow got some good reviews.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just in case you're not clear on that, the ESF has a terrible reputation for snowboarding lessons, so you'd probably want to avoid them.

The ESF are very traditional and although much European snowboarding stuff came from France, the never really got it.

I know at least one ESF instructor from Corchevel who can ride, but he's obviously not running the shop.

+1 for StanceSnow, or Active Ecole Ski School (http://www.ski-school-oz.com), which is run by the wife of one of the instructors from Stance. They both specialise in private tuition though, which might work out relatively expensive if there's just two. It will be totally worth it though!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

+1 Stance - snowboard lessons with Oli were great.
