Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Due to a humungous mess up over passports I will now (unless by some miracle) find myself solo in Les Arcs for the early part of next week as my wife has to stay home with our (now passport-less) son. Hopefully my wife will make it out later in the week with our youngest if his passport arrives monday/tuesday. Currently Im at the mercy of HM Passport office 'fast track' service (kids cant get a same day passport) but its not looking hopeful we will make it out together as originally planned - potentially a costly mistake I shall never make again
Does anyone fancy hooking up early next week as Id much prefer a ski buddy (or buddies) than be by myself ? Im staying in Arc 2000. Im 42 yr old guy, fairly advanced skier and will tackle most things though huge mogul fields dont go down so well with my knees these days ! Will need a few hours to find my ski legs before doing anything too challenging !
please let me know.
cheers,
nick

Offering sympathy for the passport issue, I did the same thing with my daughter having assumed her passport was for 10 years!
Only realised the night before we were due to leave. Thought all was lost but hotel and Eurostar let me change the dates - now we'll be in Les arcs 2 weeks after you so can't help with the buddy thing- hope it all works out for you somehow!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

hi,
pleased to report that, despite the odds, my sons passport has arrived so my wife will make it out with me and I wont be solo any more

However, if anyone still fancies hooking up anyway (ski only, cant do much apres with kids), please let me know - the more the merrier
