Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Service

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

I was going to service my own skis this year, but time is now against me and I wont really be able to do them before I head off.

So .... Does anyone know of a good place to get them done in and around the Coventry area, or if not in Selva Val Gardena and get them done over night when I'm there?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just had a look at his website. Literally 5 minutes from our hotel.

Do you remember how much it cost?

I've used these guys in Hinckley a few times and they've always done a great job:

Edges are done by hand to your desired angle etc and they like to keep them in a few days if possible to get a good few layers of wax on there too.

These guys are in Tamworth: www.straightlineuk.co.uk - use to work for Ski Warehouse before SD took them over.
Or of course Lockwoods in Leamington: www.lockwoods.com

Sorry - but, no. It was 3 years ago ! - I've 17 euros in my head :: of course, it depends on what is needed (wax and sharpen edges or extra base work). whatever the price was, I thought it was reasonable................
