When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for spares for Salomon X-Wave boots

Hi, first post, sorry for it being an 'asking for stuff' one!

I have some old X-Wave 9.0s and have been using them for a couple of days at Glenshee to try them out. I replaced the liner footbeds as I discovered the previous owner had heavily customised them. Now I have discovered that the inner sole plate (black removable platform inside the bottom of the shell) has been planed down and cants significantly to the outer edge (suits a skier who is bow legged - I am the opposite).

So, in summary, I'm after some new, untouched, unmolested inner sole plates in 28.5 to 30 ish so I can get my boots back to neutral. EB in London says they have loads in a big box but I'm in Aberdeen...
