Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Deux Alpes - ski decouvert pass?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all, has anyone knowledge of Les Deux Alpes? I taking my young children to ski at half term and looking at the lift passes, they do a 'cheaper' lift pass which covers 21 lifts, but I can't find any information as to what lifts these are on the piste map?

Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

It's a day pass which covers the beginner lifts on the Bas des Pistes, the Vallee Blanche and the Venosc telecabin. Unless your kids are total beginners and won't go beond Bas des Pistes it isn't really suitable - no access to any of the main system at Cretes or above where the snow is better and the runs easier than those on the VB.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, I think I've made my mind up to forget this and go with the full lift pass as the gentle greens at the top look really nice to learn on.

I'm going in half term (14th Feb), has anyone been at that time and knows how busy it is likely to be? Is the resort capable of dealing with a busy period?

Thanks again.
